Store-Dot is developing ultra-fast charge Li-ion batteries for electronic devices and Electric Vehicles. You will be part of the R&D department, working with numerous manufacturing entities in South Korea.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process transfer and implementation to pilot and manufacturing sites.
  • Overseeing experimental & production batches in various production sites.
  • The role requires a multidisciplinary approach and a problem solver attitude. You will work with many interfaces inside and outside the company from R&D chemistry to production on overseas sites.

    • Preparing RFI protocols, preliminary and summary reports
    • Setting experiments /production goals and feasible timelines
    • Engineering consulting and hands on tests when needed on site
    • In charge of monitoring the following processessome text
      1. Mixing, coating & calendaring processes
      2. Monitor process quality and yields
      3. Cell assembly processes

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • B.Sc. in Chemical engineering or related fields with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Experience in pilot/production facilities – A must. 
  • Experience in either slurry mixing, coating, or cell assembly in the Li-ion industry – A must. 
  • Experience in transferring processes from development to production – an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – A must
  • Process engineering approach, product oriented and fast learner
  • Initiative, accountable, independent and organized.
  • Korean as mother tongue and fluent English – A must 
  • Availability to travel to manufacturers sites in South Korea frequently for a few days at a time.
